R&D Team

Barry Huang - Product Development Manager

Graduated with packaging engineering major at Chongqing Technology and Business University, he has over 20 years of experience in product development, design and management. He has worked as a headlight R&D engineer and product development manager for many years. He was honored to involve in the development and design of LED signal light, LED brake light, LED high mount stop lamp, LED fog light, etc. for world famous car brands including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Chrysler. Moreover, he developed and designed commercial lighting products for internationally well-known brands such as OSRAM, Philips, IKEA and so on. Through his persistent efforts and innovative ability, he leads a passionate and creative team to apply for over 30 product invention patents.

Since 2020, he has been working as a product development manager in Greencity Light Co., Ltd. He constantly innovates the automotive lighting technologies to speed up product upgrade and reform. This drives us to develop and design more energy-saving and eco-friendly automotive lighting products. What we are pursuing is: when you turn on the car lights during driving, you stand out among the cars on roads.

Design and Development Process

Research and development planning

Evaluate whether the product can be imagined in the early stage of the product, communicate its scheme with customers, and finally reach an agreement.
Design Input
According to customer or market requirements, sort out the development task (the development task is detailed to the design of the parts, the selection of the main components, the development cycle, the completion time), and confirm the signature and assign it to the relevant engineers for development and design.
Design Output
Engineers design products according to requirements, output relevant materials (3D drawings), prototypes, templates.
Design Review
Review products according to templates, assemblies, functions, production, testing requirements, etc.; the Unqualified need to be rectified or redesigned.
Design Verification
After the design review is rectified, the proofing, assembly, and testing are verified to confirm whether the design requirements are met; the Unqualified need to return to the development design, re-review, and verification.
Design Confirmation
Establish the BOM after verification, then input the drawings, confirm the parts and small-batch trial production. The Unqualified re-enter to development design, review, verification and confirmation process.
Mass Production:
After passing the trial production according to the arrangement of relevant documents, it enters mass production.
